Built in carved  white marble, floats on the town skyline, on Kala Pahad. The idol within the temple could be a duplicate of the one at Tirupati and was engineered by the Birlas 3 decades agone. The temple offers a bird’s eye view of the dual cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Scenes from the Ramayana and sacred writing ar finely carved  in marble.

The 11-foot tall sculpture of Lord Venkateswara is carved  from black granite, specially strip-mined and brought from Phirangipuram in Guntur district. Birla Mandir is well connected by TSRTC buses or Associate in Nursing MMTS Train in Hyderabad.
